Kate Middleton and Prince William just celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, the weeks leading to this milestone were tainted with rumors of divorce and cheating along with speculations they are feuding with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. However, did these claims really put a damper on the important occasion?
First, fans of the royal couple might have already heard of various rumors claiming they are opting to get divorced like Prince Charles and Princess Diana did before. It all started when a report came out insisting that Middleton wanted to cut ties with close friend Rose Hanbury.
Soon after, various media outlets started speculating that Prince William allegedly cheated on her wife with Hanbury. While the Kensington Palace has yet to directly address the divorce rumors, other news sources already laid out information suggesting that Middleton’s marriage with Queen Elizabeth II’s grandson is not in jeopardy.
Prior to the wild divorce rumors, Prince William and Middleton were reportedly at odds with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. There were even claims that the rift could push Prince Harry and Markle to move to Africa and carry out their royal duties there. Reports also have it that the royal brothers were not on speaking terms as they stood far from each other during the royal Easter service.
Just this week, the feud rumors were reignited when the official Instagram account of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stopped following Prince William and Middleton’s pages. But the unfollowing of accounts is actually part of their Mental Health Awareness campaign.
Meanwhile, all these rumors did not seem to ruin the mood of the royals. Even at the mentioned Easter service, Middleton was spotted sporting big smiles while Prince William stands beside her. Last week, it was also reported that they visited Markle who is taking a rest as she is expected to give birth this month.

Official social media accounts of the Kensington Palace have also honored Middleton and Prince William’s eighth anniversary by sharing photos of from their wedding. In the caption, the royal couple expressed their gratitude to everyone who wished them well on their anniversary. This is a good indication that all is well in their marriage.
