As a first step, it was alleged that Katie went on a shopping spree to change her wardrobe to more fashionable and sexier ensembles.
She allegedly wants the sexy makeover so Jamie Foxx will not look at other women, but this seems to be fake news, as pointed out by Gossip Cop. The fact-checking publication highlighted the comment that was published in Life and Style that reads, “Katie went on a shopping spree before their big date and spent tens of thousands on new clothes,” said the tabloid's so-called source.
In this line, Gossip Cop reiterated that the tabloid did not indicate any details about the "source." It added that Life and Style could not name the insider or even the shops where Katie Holmes supposedly spent thousands for a makeover.
Also, according to People, a recent story about Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx splitting after five years of being together prompted the former “Dawson’s Creek” star to make things clear through her representative.
“The [story] is 100 percent untrue,” Leslie Sloane, Katie’s rep, told the magazine. Her words also suggest that the couple’s relationship is still going strong.
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx started dating a year after the former left her husband, Tom Cruise. The “Mission Impossible” actor has a 12-year-old daughter with Katie, and her name is Suri.
