It appears that the more Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx keep their relationship on the down low, the more the gossip industry speculates on their real status. The couple was rumored again to be on the verge of another break up again, but they allegedly prevented it as they began planning their wedding.
The latest rumor came from OK! Magazine (via Gossip Cop) claiming that Holmes and Foxx have had a rough patch before their first-ever red carpet event together at the Met Gala 2019 earlier this month. The tabloid shared statements from an unknown source who said the couple has had fights and uncovered secrets.
The same source took their claims up to a notch by stating that Holmes and Foxx’s relationship has matured through time and has led them to wedding preparations and having a baby together. “Katie’s been longing to have another baby so that [her daughter] Suri doesn’t grow up an only child,” the insider said. “Of course, they want to get married. Paris has always been a special place for them, so they may just jump on a plane and do it [there] before the year is over.”
However, the fact-checking news outlet debunks the tabloid report based on other eyewitness accounts from other, more reputable publications. Source of PEOPLE and E! News have previously mentioned that Holmes and Foxx have decided not to let their relationship get in the way of their careers. As a result, the couple reportedly prefers to travel to be together only when they can.
Meanwhile, there are also other indications that Holmes and Foxx’s relationship is in good terms but not in a rush to tie the knot. The actor’s eldest daughter, Corinne, previously shared to PEOPLE that she thinks highly of her father’s girlfriend. “They are so great, and Katie is always so chic. They were wonderful,” Corinne said. “They’re really good, really great.” Corinne, Holmes, and Foxx were all seen together in April.
