A publication recently claimed that Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are at odds after the latter made their daughters appears in her upcoming TV show. However, a representative of the country music singer-songwriter denied the report suggesting that the popular couple is in good terms.
Gossip Cop dissected a report from New Idea that Urban was “fuming” after Kidman made their daughters, 10-year-old Sunday Rose and 8-year-old Faith Margaret, film some scenes for “The Undoing.” It is an upcoming miniseries to be released on HBO starring Kidman, Hugh Grant, Noah Jupe, and more. “The Undoing” is based on Jean Hanff Korelitz novel “You Should Have Known” and started filming this month in New York City.
A source of the tabloid claimed that Nicole Kidman’s move was allegedly a betrayal on Keith Urban and that including their children in her projects was “against his wishes.” The same insider added that Urban and Kidman had a heated argument. “[Urban was] screaming at her down the phone, which everyone around her could hear, and threatening to walk as he said he couldn’t stay in a marriage where his partner clearly had no respect for him,” the tipster reportedly narrated.
However, the fact-checking news outlet reached out to a representative of Urban to confirm the report. His spokesperson ultimately dismissed New Idea’s claims and reportedly said the “story is nonsense.” It was also clarified that Urban was never mad at Kidman for letting their daughters have a part in the miniseries.
HBO has yet to announce a release date window for “The Undoing.” Meanwhile, fans may also recall that Kidman previously confirmed that her daughters will have cameo roles in “Big Little Lies” season 2 set to premiere in June.
Gossip Cop also pointed out that Keith Urban once invited her daughters to join him on stage in one of his live concerts. This goes to show that he has no problem of allowing them to have their time in the limelight just like they did for a couple of Nicole Kidman’s TV projects.
