Kit Harington reportedly checked in at a rehab to address his alcoholism and stress. The actor was said to have entered the facility just before the “Game of Thrones” air its final episode in May.
According to Page Six, the actor chose a luxury rehab, and he signed up secretly. Aside from alcohol and stress, it was said that the end of “GoT” also affected Harrington very much, so he took the time to get help via professional treatment.
Kit’s rehab stay and marriage troubles
The publication added that the 32-year-old actor registered at Connecticut’s Privé-Swiss and he has been there for a month at the time when the details were revealed more than three months ago. It was initially reported that his wife Rose Leslie has been supportive as he struggled to shed his Jon Snow characters that he became very attached to after playing the role for eight years. In fact, when he was interviewed by Variety, Kit Harrington said that on the last day of filming for the “Game of Thrones,” he took off his Jon Snow costume and it felt like his skin was being peeled away.
Later, it was rumored that Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie are heading for divorce due to his behavior and rehab issues. Based on the report, the actress could no longer stand his temper and violent ways, so it is better for them to part ways.

Harrington returned to the spotlight after taking a break at a wellness center, and his first public appearance was at the Emmy’s. Noticeably, the actor arrived without his wife Rose Leslie, but he was seen in sweet moments with his “Got” co-stars.
Perhaps, the most memorable was his afterparty hugging moments with Emilia Clarke who played his love interest Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO drama series. The two were said to be chatting and embracing, and many who saw them loved the view because they were loved as Jon Snow and Daenerys and it was quite a nostalgic sight. In any case, his wife’s absence further fueled the divorce rumors.
The truth about Kit and Rose’s divorce
Gossip Cop debunked the rumors that Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie are filing for divorce. The publication checked with the actor’s rep and was told that the reports are false, adding that the pair is still happily married.
