Kit Kat is definitely one of the most popular chocolate brands around, and it has been continuously releasing new flavors to satisfy its fans even more. This week, the wafer chocolate bar announced a new addition to its lineup, and it is called the Blueberry Muffin Kit Kat.
The new flavor was unveiled on Wednesday, April 6, and it has been getting attention for its uniqueness. It was said that the latest addition to the Kit Kat range of chocolates was inspired by the baked treats but without the need to use the oven.
According to NBC12, the new Blueberry Muffin Kit Kat creation is covered in creme instead of chocolate. It was said to taste like freshly baked blueberries on a muffin cake. It also features graham cookie pieces that were folded into the wafer bar.
This is the latest addition to Kit Kat's growing portfolio of flavors, and it followed the previously released Kit Kat Dark Chocolate, Kit Kat Duos Strawberry, Lemon Crisp, and Kit Kat Thins Hazelnut. The Hershey Company said that the Blueberry Muffin flavor would be distributed to retail stores across the United States starting this Wednesday.
People stated that people would like this bar as it offers nice fruit flavors without a strong artificial taste. It also has a satisfying crunchiness that has been amplified by the graham cookie pieces embedded in the wafer layers. Overall, the magazine stated after trying it, the new Kit Kat flavor definitely lives up to expectations.
"Our product creators have such passion for deciding which flavor KIT KAT should take on next and making sure it delivers for our fans," Kit Kat's brand manager, Dan Williard, said in a press release. "KIT KAT Blueberry Muffin has already become one of our favorites; it has all the taste of a freshly baked blueberry muffin, but no baking required!"
Meanwhile, the Kit Kat Blueberry Muffin will be available in different sizes such as the 0.49 oz. snack size, the 1.5 oz. standard bar, and the huge 3 oz. king bar. The price for the bar was not mentioned in the release.
