Konica Minolta’s bizhub SECURE portfolio is a line of value added professional services designed to ensure comprehensive network security protection through a variety of password and data security measures. With the introduction of bizhub SECURE Platinum, Konica Minolta is extending the powerful security protection of both the standard bizhub SECURE and bizhub SECURE Healthcare to provide the most extensive, sophisticated set of security measures for adherence to industry compliance requirements, such as the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) for the education industry and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) for the finance industry and businesses of all sizes.
Some of the defining features of this upgraded service include:
- IP filtering, to limit network access to the device.
- Enhanced user authentication options.
- Audit Logs by user and use.
Konica Minolta just recently garnered a Buyers Lab PaceSetter Award for Leadership in Document Imaging Security. The company also landed in the top tier in the majority of the categories evaluated, receiving the highest score of any vendor in Device Authentication. The devices also scored very well in hard drive security, function control, job protection, and device security protocols, as well as in having the entire system certified, as opposed to only one component or option.
“Konica Minolta has always been at the forefront of meeting, international MFP and printer security standards as well as offering both cyber and physical security and services for MFP’s and printers said Kevin Kern, Senior Vice President, Business Intelligence Services and Product Planning, Konica Minolta Business Solutions, U.S.A., Inc. “With the ever evolving world of information security threats our new bizhub secure Platinum service adds another level of protection against network and physical access risks.”
Bizhub SECURE Platinum is available on a range of Konica Minolta bizhub models. For detailed security information, please contact your Konica Minolta consultant.
