Kristen Stewart has been spotted at Chanel’s pre-Oscars party and she partied alongside other A-list stars like Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. The event that was held at The Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills, California, officially kicks off the 2019 Oscars that was slated to take place on Feb. 24 at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
According to Vanity Fair, the attendees also honored Karl Lagerfeld as the genius designer of Chanel where Kristen Stewart is one of the label’s longtime brand ambassadors. At some point in the night, Robert Pattinson’s ex-girlfriend also made a statement about Chanel clothing styles.
“I know that fashion comes along with a lot of presupposed rules,” she said. “And I was always made to feel like you could break all of those rules, and yet still do something individual and unique. Even though Chanel seems like the essential, classic luxury brand, the reason they stay that way is because they do subversive shit, and they genuinely believe in it.”
Kristen Stewart revealed that although she does not have a really close relationship with Karl Lagerfeld, she admires him and she felt lucky to have the chance to work with one of the best designers out there. She described him as a compassionate and a great leader/teacher.
“I didn't know Karl intimately,” the “Twilight” actress said. “I worked with him, and I'm so lucky for that. But through his art and who he was, he will dwell with me in my heart forever, because he was a compulsive and very true artist.”
On the other hand, Robert Pattinson is still in the race for the actor who is likely to replace Ben Affleck as he leaves behind his Marvel character. The competition is not easy though as other great actors are also considered for the vacated superhero role and some of them are Kit Harrington, Jamie Dornan, Sam Heughan, Armie Hammer and more.
Comicbook stated that Warner Bros is looking for someone who is in his late twenties to be the next Bruce Wayne. With this said, it seems that Robert Pattinson is out of the race but still, many fans want him to be chosen as “Batman” and they insist he is the right actor to replace Ben Affleck.
In any case, Warner Bros may announce their choice soon for the filming of new “Batman” to begin. Will it be Kristen Stewart’s ex, Robert Pattinson?
