It may be close to seven years now since Robert Pattinson, and Kristen Stewart called it quits. But their fans are still buzzing about the most little details that connect the two. For example, recently, Stewart seemingly wore a t-shirt reportedly owned by her ex-boyfriend.
A few weeks ago, journalist Evan Ross Katz caused a stir among the “Robsten” fans after pointing out that Stewart might have worn a t-shirt that Pattinson was previously photographed in. The collage Katz posted on Instagram shows four photos to build the case that it's print design is exactly the same.
The black shirt is a Beastie Boys merch with the text “Get off my d***” printed at the back. “I like to imagine Ms. Stewart getting custody of this T-shirt after her breakup with Mr. Pattinson in 2012 and immediately cutting it into this here crop top,” Katz wrote in the caption. “A sensible crop for a relatable sentiment.”
One minor but noticeable change on the shirt in Stewart’s photo is that it was trimmed to be worn as a crop top. Katz’s photo comparison seems compelling, but some fans in the comments section are not convinced. It is also unlikely for Stewart or Pattinson to even address whether or not the speculation is correct. This could mean that the fans may never know if the model-actress really kept the t-shirt in question as a memento or they happen to have the same merch, which is also not impossible.
On the bright side, Pattinson did confirm recently that there is no bitterness between him and his exes Stewart and FKA Twigs. The Sunday Times asked the actor whether he is still in good terms with the actress and the music artist and he replied, “Yes, yes.” Meanwhile, he declined to discuss his relationship with reported current girlfriend, Suki Waterhouse.
Pattinson and Stewart were one of the biggest stars among young adult fans in the early 2010s, thanks to the blockbuster success of the “Twilight” movie series. Fans got even more excited after it was confirmed they were officially dating in May 2010. But the relationship ended in 2012 after it was learned that Stewart had an affair with “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders.
