Robert Pattinson admitted that he had a hard time dealing with his fame after starring in the “Twilight” series, but there was someone who helped him get through and deal with it. The actor said that his ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart helped him a lot at that time by simply being by his side.
The pair became a real-life couple after starring as lovers in the “Twilight” movies. The two of them, along with Taylor Lautner, really became so popular after appearing in the vampire-themed teen movies based on the book series written by Stephenie Meyer.
K-Stew supported R-Patz!
Pattinson and Stewart stayed together for more than four years before splitting up in 2013. They called it quits after the actress was caught cheating with a married man who was her director in “Snowhite and the Huntsman.” Needless to say, there was bitterness in their separation, but prior to this, the two are seen as very much in love with each other.
In fact, Robert Pattinson admitted that when fame became so overwhelming for him, he said that it was his then-girlfriend Kristen Stewart, who supported and helped him cope. She stayed with him, and the actor added that things would have been very difficult for him if she was not there by his side.
During an interview conducted by Margaret Gardiner, she asked the 33-year-old star if Stewart supported him and how. "Yeah, I'm sure. If you're experiencing the exact same thing with someone, if you can see anyone, how they deal with something, it always helps,” Pink Villa quoted Pattinson as saying. “You can see another example like if you feel like you're completely alone, it always makes things a lot more difficult."
The ex-lover made good decisions that led to their success
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are superstars now, and as an indication, both are starring in big movies as lead actors. The actress signed up to be one of “Charlie’s Angels,” while the latter has been chosen to be the next “Batman” in the DC Comics universe.
They have obviously gotten a long way since starring as Edward and Bella, and they seemed to have followed the same formula to reach success. Choosing the right projects and making good decisions definitely helped them get to where they are now. Meanwhile, Golderby mentioned that the two are close to getting their Oscars, but it is yet to see who between them will get it first.
