LY Corporation raised its full-year outlook after revenue rose 12.3% in the six months ended Sept. 30, while net income attributable to owners of the parent declined 32.8%.

Revenue totaled 1.118 trillion yen, according to results released Nov. 5. Net income attributable to owners of the parent was 92.9 billion yen. The company separately reported that profit for the period fell 37.4%.

Operating income dropped 7.3% to 198.9 billion yen. Selling, general and administrative expenses increased 20.4% to 613.4 billion yen. Income tax expense was 48.9 billion yen, compared with a 12.3 billion yen tax benefit in the same period a year earlier.

LY said revenue growth included contributions from PayPay Consolidated, Yahoo! JAPAN Shopping, the ZOZO Group, account advertising and LYP Premium. Businesses consolidated in the previous fiscal year also contributed. LY linked much of the SG&A increase to the newly consolidated businesses, citing promotion, commission and staffing expenses.

Adjusted earnings per share rose 13.1% to 17.29 yen, and adjusted EBITDA increased 22% to 306.6 billion yen. Those measures improved while operating income and net income attributable to owners of the parent declined.

The company lifted its full-year revenue forecast to 2.33 trillion yen from 2.24 trillion yen and its adjusted EPS forecast to 35 yen from 30 yen. LY cited stronger-than-expected performance at ASKUL Corporation, LINE MAN CORPORATION PTE. LTD. and PayPay Consolidated as factors behind the revisions.

LY's investor relations calendar lists Feb. 4, 2027, as the tentative date for its FY2026 third-quarter earnings release.
