KEMP, Texas, April 20, 2018 -- Leader in industrial lighting, Larson Electronics, has just announced a new explosion proof LED handlamp that features a heavy-duty swivel hook for versatile mounting and a unique angled board design for 360-degree illumination. This LED lamp is ideal for general lighting, detailed tasks and inspections, and tank cleaning in hazardous locations, industrial facilities, oil refineries, and food processing facilities, and more.
The EHL-LED-ITG-DW is a 25-watt explosion proof lamp designed for handheld or hands-free operation in hazardous locations. The lamp operates on 120-277V AC and emits 2,750 lumens of bright white light with a color temperature of 5,000K and a CRI of 70. This explosion proof hazardous location light features an angled board configuration, which provides 360 degrees of light. The special annealed aluminum wire swivel hook allows this portable handlamp to be mounted on poles, hooks, corners, indentations, chains and other compatible openings.
This Class I, Divisions 1 & 2 and Class II, Divisions 1 & 2 rated lamp is constructed of non-sparking aluminum and includes a frosted lens design that helps ensure clarity and prevents blinding if the lamp is looked at directly during operation. This LED fixture requires a user provided cord cap and has a runner cord grip that accepts 16/3 SOOW, 14/3 SOOW, 12/3 SOOW and 10/3 SOOW cord.
“This EHL-LED-ITG-DW has many mounting options for hands-free operation, which allows operators to increase their productivity with the use of both hands,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC. “This makes it an ideal lamp for detailed tasks that need close up illumination.”
