KEMP, Texas, April 23, 2018 -- Industrial lighting leader, Larson Electronics LLC, announced the release of a portable telescoping explosion proof LED light tower that illuminates an area of 14,500 square feet with 35,000 lumens of light. This adjustable light tower is equipped with a wheeled base and a 100-foot SOOW cord terminated in a 20-amp explosion proof receptacle with daisy chaining capabilities, making this tower ideal for hazardous locations that need high output portable lighting.
The HAL-2X150MCE-LED-E2E is a wheeled tower mounted explosion proof LED lighting system ideal for operators looking for top quality portable lighting for use in Class I, Division 2, Class II Division 1 and 2 and Class III Division 1 and 2 locations. The light tower is equipped with two removeable LED light heads that emit 35,000 lumens total. The wide flood lamp heads are mounted to the telescoping tower via trunnion brackets that allows operators to adjust the vertical and horizontal position of each head independently. Each LED lamp contains twelve 12.5-watt LEDs and is paired with high purity optics for highly efficient and powerful work area lighting.
The telescoping tower can be extended up to 11 feet and collapsed to 7.75 feet for smaller footprint applications and features a T-style head that can be removed for storage and easier transportation. The tower is constructed of sturdy non-sparking aluminum with solid wheels that allow the assembly to be tilted back and transported. The lamp housings are built with copper-free cast aluminum with hardened borosilicate glass lenses.
“The HAL-2X150MCE-LED-E2E is an ideal tower for demanding, hazardous locations that need a portable lighting system,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC. “It features high output LED illumination that extends over a large area and an explosion proof receptacle that allows operators to daisy-chain up to 5 units - great for mining, marine, construction and other industrial operations.”
