KEMP, Texas, April 12, 2018 -- Industrial lighting leader, Larson Electronics LLC, released a 150-watt quadpod mounted explosion proof LED light tower, capable of illuminating an area up to 9,500 square feet with 17,500 lumens of bright illumination. This adjustable Cree LED light tower is designed for portability and durable operation in harsh, demanding conditions such as emergency services, mining, construction, marine, and industrial operations.
The EPL-QP-1X150RT-100-EPP.30A-2W3P is a Class I Division 1, Class II Divisions 1 & 2 and Class III Divisions 1 & 2 hazardous location quadpod mounted LED lighting system, with an output of 17,500 lumens of light projected over 9,500 square feet of work area. This portable LED light tower features one removable lamp head containing twelve LED bulbs drawing only 1.25 amps on 120V for extremely efficient and powerful illumination. This LED light tower is perfect for replacing metal halide floodlights that are too fragile for explosive environments and run too hot. The EPL-QP-1X150RT-100-EPP.30A-2W3P features a 30-amp rated, 3-pole 2-wire pin and sleeve plug, compatible with twist-lock receptacles that ensures secure connection is made
With impressive illumination capabilities comes equally impressive functionality. This portable LED light is mounted on a four-legged, non-sparking aluminum quadpod with a tower adjustable from seven feet to twelve feet. The tower can be completely taken apart for storage and transportation and the quadpod mount includes solid wheels for easy movement from one area of the workspace to another. This hazardous location LED light tower is equipped with 100' of 16/3 SOOW oil, chemical, abrasive, and water-resistant cable. When combined with the adjustability offered by the LED light head, there is ample length for tower placement and optimal coverage of the workspace.
“The EPL-QP-1X150RT-100-EPP.30A-2W3P is a great option for compact mining and construction operations because of the removeable LED lamp head and collapsible tower,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC. “The lamp head is small enough to fit through most standard size manholes and entry points, and the tower can be folded and passed through, then reassembled once inside.”
