KEMP, Texas, April 08, 2018 -- Industrial lighting leader, Larson Electronics LLC, has released a flood light kit that directly replaces and upgrades existing headlights on grain tanks and unloaders. This LED light kit consists of four 27 watt LED flood lights – one to replace an unloader headlight, one to replace a grain tank headlight and two to replace aftercut headlights.
The LLP-CIH-CMB-2388-GT from Larson Electronics is a set of four LED flood lights for grain tanks and unloaders that produce a total of 8640 lumens of brilliant illumination in a 30 degree flood beam configuration. Each LED lamp head produces 2160 lumens and draws just 27 watts @ 2.2 amps from a 12 volt electrical system. Of the four LED lamp heads one is used to replace a 37.5 watt headlight for an unloader, one is used to replace a 37.5 watt headlight on a grain tank, and the remaining two lamps are replacements for two 55W headlights on an aftercut.
Nine high output LEDs are arranged in a circle in each lamp and are paired with high purity optics which help produces clear, intense white light, ideal for replacing or upgrading existing OEM lights. Each LED lamp in this grain tank and unloader headlight kit is IP67 waterproof and sealed against the potential intrusion of dust and dirt, which is highly likely to be found at worksites where these lights will be used. Built with aluminum housing and polycarbonate lenses to protect the LEDs, these headlights can survive rugged outdoor use and demanding use.
“The LLP-CIH-CMB-2388-GT is an ideal replacement for traditional OEM lights that aren’t bright enough and waste too much energy,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC. “These CREE LED headlights are excellent energy-efficient upgrades, and are designed for direct replacement, so upgrading existing lights is very simple.”
