Launch of a new website for
Dassault Aviation
www.dassault-aviation.com
(Saint-Cloud, France, September 29, 2017) - For fall 2017, Dassault Aviation has introduced its new official bilingual (FR/EN) website: www.dassault-aviation.com. On this site, you will find many posts (news, videos, photos, etc.) and you will be able to explore them with a more intuitive design and simple, elegant graphics.
New design, new concept
This new website has been redesigned both in its form and its content. It allows users to quickly and easily access all of our information. The goal of this redesign is to make navigation more intuitive and create an innovative visual identity so that we can continue to share our passion for aeronautics more widely. With increased site usage on smartphones and tablets, Dassault Aviation developed its new website using responsive design so that the site adapts to different screen resolutions.
The new main website connects to five other sites: Group, Defense, Civil, Space, and Passion. The sites offer a streamlined, immersive design to showcase our businesses and products in a way that stirs site visitors' emotions. Each site has its own home page and is distinguished with its own specific color to help guide site users.
The platform emphasizes large-format visuals and HD videos as much as possible. It invites users to fly away with us... We also wanted to make our deep content more accessible. As such, we went through a major process of organizing posts and functions.
Revamped home pages
The main website's home page is easier to use and more interactive. It immediately immerses site visitors in the Dassault universe. The home page presents a large amount of key content (press kits, news, etc.) and it effortlessly guides users through the site. From the home page, users also have access to all different sections of the site through the main menu. Users can also access the information that they're looking for more quickly thanks to a menu organized based on the interests of different user profiles.
Additionally, comprehensive home pages for Careers and Finance have been created to provide easier access for people looking for information on these subjects (e.g. make it easier to search for a job). Again, the goal of this is to improve the user experience and highlight our offerings.
An enhanced experience
The goal of this redesign is also to optimize the "cross-channel" experience by incorporating our @Dassault_OnAir Twitter feed and by providing direct access to our various tools, apps, and social media accounts.
Also, users receive support from a toolbox throughout their visits to the site. The toolbox contains direct access to our Web TV and photo gallery, icons for sharing on social media, a bilingual aeronautics glossary, and a contact form.
With this redesign, we wanted to better align ourselves with the brand's high-end image and the company's technological performance. The agency Tequila Rapido helped us do this. They made it possible for us to offer a simple, attractive site that's pleasant to visit.
