Lee Min Ho is one of South Korea’s superstar celebrities, and he was born on June 22, 1987, in Dongjak-gu, Seoul. According to his mother, the actor was only 3.2 kg when he was born, and he was such a sickly baby that his health problems continue until his elementary years.
His mother once relayed a story when she was still pregnant with Min Ho and said that it was through her dream that she knew that she was carrying a boy. “I had a dream when I was bearing Min Ho, the dream scene is a plateau of chili ground,” she said via a report posted on Facebook. “Although the hospital did not give me the sex of my child because of that dream, I was confident that it should be a son.”

Lee Min Ho likes to read newspapers, and he learned Hangul by looking at the colorful ads in its pages. He has a good memory and can add and subtract very fast in elementary. He is popular in school, and girls were said to be fighting for his attention.
He learned soccer and Taekwondo at this point, so he developed a desire to be an athlete. However, he was injured, which ended his dreams to be a pro-soccer player. Lee Min Ho realized he wants to be an actor in his second year in high school. He became a trainee and landed small roles. In his senior year, he signed up with Starhaus Entertainment, and the rest is history.
