“Lethal Weapon” season 3 episode 3 is titled “A Whole Lotto Trouble” and as the phrase suggests, it is about lottery. Wesley Cole (Seann William Scott) and Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) will run after a gang involved in a lottery scam and this will be another hilarious chase as they try to catch the culprits.
As per TV Guide, “Lethal Weapon” season 3 episode 3’s synopsis reads: “Cole juggles the realities of his job and his duty to be a good parent, as he and Murtaugh work together to bust a gang running a lottery scam; Murtaugh receives a surprise visit from his father-in-law.”
The show signed up Paola Lazaro to play the female partner of Detective Sonya Bailey (Michelle Mitchenor). She is expected to appear in “Lethal Weapon” season 3 soon and will be called Louie “The Gute” Gutierrez.
According to TV Line, Lazaro’s character will join the Robbery-Homicide Division. Prior to being assigned to the new post, she worked undercover for a year to topple a cartel.
Meanwhile, although “Lethal Weapon” season 3 welcomed new actors, it is sad to know that one of the leads, Damon Wayans, is leaving. He just announced his decision to quit via an interview.
“I’m going to be quitting the show in December after we finish the initial 13,” he told Eurweb. “So I really don’t know what they’re planning, but that’s what I’m planning. I’m a 58-year-old diabetic and I’m working 16-hour days.”
The actor went on to explain that he is quitting because he feels that he is already too old to portray his role in “Lethal Weapon.” “I’m done. Like Murtaugh said, I’m too old for this,” he said.
“Lethal Weapon” season 3 debuted on Sept. 25 and it airs every Tuesday at 8 p.m.
