Lotte Department Store Company secured exclusive distribution rights for the premium coffee brand Bacha Coffee earlier this year. As part of the deal, the department store chain has now launched the coffee products online.
Pulse News said the Lotte Department Store started selling Bacha Coffee online. In response, the company set up an online brand center, especially for the popular Moroccan coffee brand.
Online Store Launch
The department store chain officially launched Bacha Coffee's online sales on Monday, April 22. It was reported that this comes ahead of the opening of physical stores in South Korea, which has been scheduled for July.
Through the exclusive brand section for Bacha Coffee at Lotte's mall stores, online selling is expected to roll without a hitch. The company will offer different products under the Bacha Coffee brand, including coffee beans, drip bags, and various coffee blends.
Other Bacha Coffee Products to Check Out
Lotte Department Store will also sell Bacha Coffee's "Nomad Collection," which consists of colored packaging. The colors are said to have been assigned to each type of coffee based on taste and aroma.
There is also the Autograph Collection, which comes in airtight tin cases. As per Aju News, colored tins are assigned according to the products' taste and aroma.
"Basha Coffee, a Moroccan heritage coffee brand with a long history and craftsmanship, will become our own powerful product," Lotte Department Store's head of content unit, Lee Joo Hyun, said in a statement. "We will gradually expand Basha Coffee's online and offline business while continuously discovering new content and we plan to put a lot of effort into this."
