Louis DeJoy, president of LDJ Global Strategies, is Elon University’s 2017 recipient of its Medal for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
The award is presented annually to those who exemplify the university’s core values of integrity, innovation and creativity, passion for lifelong learning and commitment to building a dynamic community.
"Elon University is honored to recognize Louis DeJoy both for his business acumen and success in building a world-class logistics company, as well as for his service as an insightful, thoughtful, dynamic and philanthropic trustee,” said Elon University President Leo M. Lambert.
The Medal for Entrepreneurial Leadership program was sponsored by the Doherty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business. The dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, Dr. Raghu Tadepalli, and founder and CEO of Doherty Enterprises Inc. Ed Doherty, presented the award on March 1.
