Netflix's recently acquired fantasy police procedural starring the devil himself, Lucifer, may be going back to basics with its story for “Lucifer” season 4.
A fan of the show recently posted on Reddit a letter from the show's production that may yield clues as to “Lucifer” season 4's plot. Reddit user u/tc215487 posted a photo of a letter from Warner Bros. Entertainment Co. about a shoot for “Lucifer” season 4 that will occur near the Reddit user's home. The letter includes the dates and a short description of the activity for the shoot. Interestingly enough, the notification letter that u/tc215487 posted also shows two shoots for “Lethal Weapon.”
One of the dates of interest is the “Lucifer” shoot for Aug. 29. It was said that the set's location was a jungle set and would entail an explosion which might disrupt the general quietness of the area. Fans on Reddit were jumping on the detail of a jungle set for “Lucifer” season 4 due to the peculiar location. “Lucifer” has not had much use for jungle settings in the past.
Fans are now speculating on whether “Lucifer” season 4 will potentially open up a plotline that focuses on the Garden of Eden. Reddit user u/3mateusz mentioned that clues as to the jungle set's significance as a location for the Garden of Eden could potentially be found in Lauren German's personal Instagram stories. Unfortunately, the Instagram stories are no longer available on the actress' personal page.
While there has been no official sneak preview from “Lucifer's” own cast and crew about the importance of a jungle setting to the show, fans making the conclusion about the Garden of Eden being connected to the jungle set can be forgivable considering the show's subject matter and the apparent obscure use of jungle sets in the show's history.
With production for “Lucifer” season 4 just starting in August due to its cancellation by Fox, fans can hopefully expect the show to return with its premiere episode on Netflix sometime in 2019.
