“Lucifer” season 4’s is arriving really soon and this is very evident on the recent activities that the cast members were sharing on social media. This premiere is being especially anticipated because this is the season that fans almost did not see after FOX canceled the show after the third installment.
What’s more, the fact that “Lucifer” season 4 is back was the result of a group effort of the fans, cast and the whole production team. If not for the campaign to save the show and efforts of the people behind its production, the fourth season may have not been revived.
Now, as soon as Netflix announced that it is picking up “Lucifer” season 4 after FOX dumped it, filming immediately began in August 2018. With the early start, the series is already complete as the shoot wrapped up in December 2018.
As the filming is over, the next question is when will Netflix release “Lucifer” season 4. Tom Ellis (Lucifer Morningstar) already dropped a hint about their show’s airdate but it was vague. Co-star Aimee Garcia (Ella Lopez) shared a clearer tip-off when she revealed via Twitter that the new episodes are coming in either April or May.
And Aimee may have predicted the correct premiere date because, in her newest Instagram post, she shared a photo of the “Lucifer” season 4 cast and wrote “So fun seeing my #Lucifer family today...for a top secret @lucifernetflix mission...Missed THE HELL out of them.”
It was suggested that the secret mission that Aimee is referring to in the post has something to do with the “Lucifer” season 4 airdate. Perhaps, they have filmed a teaser with the date or it is also possible that Netflix gathered them to record a video for a date announcement. Whatever the case, one thing is sure, the wait is over as the new season is coming very soon.
