MEFTECH, largest fintech event in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, has announced a trio of featured speakers for the 2017 national exhibition that will be held on 13-14 March in Abu Dhabi.
Three fintech experts Chris Skinner, CEO of Balatro Ltd; JP Nicols, Bank Innovation Consulting Expert and Jim Marous, owner of Digital Banking Report will head the event with an impressive cast of keynote speakers.
This years’ event is expecting more than 1000 executive level delegates, which is larger than previous events. Board level guests from some of the leading banks in the region have already confirmed their attendance including FGB, ADIB, Qatar Islamic Bank and Bahrain Islamic Bank, Trade Arabia reported.
“MEFTECH is the definitive platform where top decision-makers share insights with technology providers and collaborate to rethink financial services,” Chris Fountain, managing director of organizers Turret Media, said. “The 2017 event is shaping up to be particularly special due to the caliber of our three headline presenters. Chris Skinner is a noted banking industry futurist, Jim Marous is one the most influential people in banking and JP Nicols is a top 5 fintech influencer, therefore we know executives from financial firms throughout the region will want to hear what they have to say.”
The delegates attending this year’s MEFTECH event are estimated to control 95 percent of the $13 billion that is spent on fintech in the Middle East every year. The event will feature some of the world’s most advanced financial technology solutions including blockchain technologies, machine learning, and cyber security tools with largest global players showcasing products to the hugely influential audience.
The Abu Dhabi MEFTECH highlights include a bespoke appointments-scheduling service enabling exhibitors to pre-arrange one-to-one meetings with hosted delegates and VIPs, on-site networking tools to maximize interaction between participants and a world-class conference program featuring a mix of keynote presentations, case studies, and live demos.
Featuring industry-leading conferences, a tightly focused trade exhibition and much more, MEFTECH is the definitive platform where top decision-makers share insights with technology providers and collaborate to rethink financial services. Year after year, MEFTECH attracts the financial industry’s best and brightest minds, serving as a conduit for innovative ideas and thinking.
