“MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 18 will be quite an exciting story to follow as it will feature two major antagonists who will be pitted against each other. The two characters are none other than Murdoc (David Dastmalchian) and Nicholas Helman (Michael Des Barres).
The synopsis of “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 18 revealed that Helman will be making his return by going on a murder spree. At some point during the story, Angus (Lucas Till) and the rest of the Phoenix organization will realize that the assassin is too much for them to handle. As such, they’ll be seeking the help of Murdoc since he’s the protégé of Helman, CarterMatt reported.
In the promotional photos for “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 18, the team can be seen confronting Murdoc, likely trying to pry as much information about his mentor. Oversight (Tate Donovan) himself appears to have taken the reins during the interrogation while Angus watches from the sidelines.
Apart from the firefight that’s about to go down, what’s really interesting about “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 18 is the deal that the team will be cutting with Murdoc. While this isn’t confirmed information just yet, Murdoc’s request will likely involve his son. It’s already been established by the series that the kid is one of the few blind spots of Murdoc. If they want information from the prolific killer, they’ll have to dangle in his face the possibility of seeing his son.
As for Helman, it’s likely that Angus and the team will be using Murdoc as bait to lure the assassin out of hiding. Indeed, the trailer for “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 18 saw that Helman was wearing an inmate’s overall, which pretty much confirms he’ll be infiltrating the prison where Murdoc is being held. Regarding the release date of the upcoming entry, CBS has scheduled it to drop on April 5.
