“MacGyver” season 3 returns early in 2019 but there will not be time for the characters to relax. Mac (Lucas Till) and Jack (George Eads), in particular, are going from vacation mode to being abducted.
It is currently the second week without a new episode of “MacGyver” season 3. And when the show returns in 2019, the fans will be welcomed with episode 11 mainly focused on Mac and Jack misadventure.
The long-time partners will decide to pursue a short vacation in Las Vegas when things go south. The “MacGyver” season 3 episode 11 synopsis reveals that Mac and Jack will find themselves locked in a concrete room. The identity of the abductor is still a mystery but it seems like someone they know from the past.
Being locked in a concrete room seems like a lot of trouble and a no-way-out type of situation. They might also have no way of contacting the rest of the team in “MacGyver” season 3 episode 11. But these factors make it the perfect setting for Mac for his exceptional skills in practically inventing tools from scratch and solving puzzles.
On the other hand, fans may recall that Matty (Meredith Eaton) is coming off of a recent personal tragedy. In “MacGyver” season 3 episode 10, the team went on a mission to save her husband from the criminal organization he has been surveilling for almost a decade.
Unfortunately, Matty later learned that her now ex-husband Ethan (Brendan Hines) had already started a new family while Matty devotedly waited for his return. Just like that truth did not stop Matty from completing the said rescue mission, it seems like she is already back on the job in “MacGyver” season 3 episode 11.
Matty will send Riley (Tristin Mays), Bozer (Justin Hires), and Leanna (Reign Edwards) to Milan to “stealing” a diamond containing an “encoded with terrorist intel” from a member of a royal family. “MacGyver” season 3 returns on Friday, Jan. 4, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
