Mark Harmon is back to filming for “NCIS” season 17. The actor was spotted on location, and his co-actors have been posting photos of some on-the-set scenes thus fans were able to get some first glimpse of the veteran actor as he resumes his role as Jethro Leroy Gibbs in the CBS’ longest-running police procedural drama
While filming for “NCIS” season 17 is ongoing, former cast member, Pauley Perrette made headlines again after directly mentioning Harmon’s name which seems to confirm that her real reason for leaving the show was the 67-year-old actor. Her post on social media also appeared to be affirming the news that it is Harmon who she might be referring to in her previous statements about someone being a bully on the set of “NCIS.”
Perrette’s tweets and allegation
Pauley Perrette worked with the “NCIS” team since it debuted in 2003. She left the show in 2018, and it was a controversial exit because at that time she did not really give an explanation for her leave. Then she published a series of blind items and suggesting that the working environment in “NCIS” was unhealthy and toxic.
She refused to identify the people or person that she hates on the set, but in her latest social media post, it was confirmed that the 50-year-old actress has some complaints against Mark Harmon. It was huge because she mentioned his name and stated that she’s terrified to work with him again.
“No, I am not coming back! Ever! And please stop asking,” she tweeted in June when asked if she will return to the show. “I am terrified of Harmon and him attacking me. I have nightmares about it. I have a new show that is safe and Happy You’ll love it!”
Mark Harmon’s camp did not comment on this but many people think that he was wrongly accused. There are people who are bashing Perrette for her allegations because they said if she was terrified of the actor why did she quit only after being on the show for 15 years?
Harmon’s filming
In his Instagram update, Wilmer Valderrama (Nicholas Torres) posted a clip of himself with the cast of “NCIS” season 17 and Mark Harmon was also there. He confirmed that they are back to filming for their police procedural drama that will return on Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
