Schuamberg, Illinois, July 18, 2017 -- Greenwich, CT - July 17th-Francois Fressinier has long believed that the female face embodies and uniquely expresses grace, beauty and the entire spectrum of human emotion. That's why he has honored it in his new collection of original paintings, to be exhibited exclusively at Martin Lawrence Galleries Woodfield Mall location, sited just outside of Chicago. The 6000 square foot fine art gallery-which offers seasoned and new collectors alike the works of the finest 20th and 21st century artists including Chagall, Picasso, Warhol, Erté, Kondakova, Hallam, Lalonde and many more-will be hosting the famed French artist at an opening reception on Saturday, July 29th, 6-8pm.

Fressinier-born in Cognac, France to portrait photographer parents with an affinity for aesthetics-combines collage, impasto, abstraction and figurative painting to create a unique textural style uniting both classical and contemporary elements. He studied fine art at the Ecole Brassartin Tours where he was exposed to the images, sketches and paintings of Rembrandt, Renoir, Courbet, Rubens and Delaunay. He drew inspiration from these masters, and incorporated those sensibilities as an integral part of his creative expressions from the very beginning of his career.
"My passion is to paint the female face in all of its intricacies of beauty and life," stated Francois Fressinier. " I am not interested in pure realism, but rather strive to offer a touch of magic in my work."
The delicate hand of Fressinier is distinctly visible in his beautiful, sensitive renderings of the female figure, which is a frequent narrative in his work. The women of Fressinier's world are imbued with grace and beauty, and as a result his original paintings are widely sought after and collected internationally.
"We are extremely proud to be hosting Francois' latest works in our magnificent new space", noted MLG's Woodfield Director Marianne Kretekos. "He has a unique and singular way of capturing a women's look-and a look into her soul-that has long delighted our collectors, and I am certain his latest paintings will once again connect with and inspire our collectors."
