McDonald’s Japan Unveils Pokémon-Themed Happy Meal Toys, Bringing Summer Fun to Fans Nationwide
McDonald's recently announced that its upcoming Happy Meal toy line would pay tribute to the Pokémon franchise. The collection will consist of eight new toys themed around creating summer memories. Pokémon fans in Japan received this news with great enthusiasm.
The initial range of four toys, scheduled to be distributed in two installments over two weeks, will be available in stores from August 9th to August 15th. We were able to inspect each item to demonstrate its functionality.
According to SoraNews24, this toy, with a ship's wheel that spins when water is poured into the spout behind Captain Pikachu's helmet, is adorable and fun to play with. The only issue is that the opening is relatively small, resulting in Pikachu being frequently saturated with water. However, given the extreme heat of the summer, he is likely to appreciate the moisture, adding to the playfulness of the toy.
McDonald’s Japan Introduces Functional and Fun Pokémon Happy Meal Toys, Perfect for Collectors and Kids Alike
The Legendary Pokémon, packaged with the Poké Ball, is visually appealing and functional with its green shield. It converts into a handle for the watering can when attached to the side, ensuring both fun and practicality.
This three-piece set comprises a Sprigatito figure, a spade, and a rake. The Sprigatito figure, with its charming ears, is the center of attention.
This disc, designed to resemble the fiery Pokémon with a vibrant orange color and flame pattern, functions similarly to a frisbee and travels an unexpectedly long distance with minimal effort.
If you are a fan of the series, stopping by to purchase a Happy Meal while they are available is a must, as these toys will surely bring a grin to your face, regardless of whether you are a child or a child at heart. Four additional items will be available from August 16th to August 22nd, including Quaxly.
