In a compelling update with fast food enthusiasts buzzing, McDonald's announced a significant shake-up of its menu just in time for Easter. Among the highlights is the return of some much-missed fan favorites that promise to rekindle the taste buds of McDonald's aficionados nationwide.
New Menu Highlights
LAD Bible reported that starting 13 March, McDonald's lovers can rejoice as the McCrispy Deluxe makes its grand comeback.
Touted as 'the best McCrispy of all-time' by the chain, this item first debuted in the summer of 2023. For £5.89—or £7.79 for a medium meal—customers can indulge in a 100% chicken breast fillet wrapped in a crispy coating, complemented by hot and spicy mayo, caramelized onion compote, seasonal lettuce, bacon, red onions, a slice of cheddar cheese, all nestled within a sourdough style bun.
Not to be outshone, the Halloumi Fries are set to make a splash as well, serving as a 'cheesy sidekick' to any meal. For £2.79, or £7.39 for a sharebox, patrons can enjoy four halloumi cheese sticks coated in a light batter, accompanied by a rich tomato dip.
Limited Time Offers
Express noted that a quintessential McDonald's Easter staple, the Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry, is slated for a return. Priced at £2.19—with a mini version available at £1.59—this dessert treats customers to soft dairy ice cream swirled with Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate chunks and topped with a Creme Egg sauce.
Further sweetening the Easter menu, the Hot Cross Bun Pie is poised to captivate pastry lovers. For just £1.99, this offering features a crispy cinnamon pastry filled with a spiced fruit mix and butter-flavour cream, striking the perfect balance between spicy and sweet.
Expanding on the Hot Cross Bun theme, McDonald's introduces a latte infused with a sweet and spicy syrup reminiscent of the beloved pastry. Topped with cinnamon cream and Hot Cross Bun flavor dusting, this latte is available for £2.69.
Rounding off the Easter delights, the Galaxy Truffle Bunny McFlurry joins the lineup as 'the most adorable McFlurry to appear on the menu yet.' At £2.19—or £1.59 for a mini—this treat merges classic McDonald's ice cream with Galaxy Truffle pieces, Galaxy bunny ears, and white and dark chocolate drops, all smothered in Galaxy Chocolate sauce.
With such a sweet and savory revamp, McDonald's is set to make this Easter season particularly memorable for its patrons.
