This committee evaluates issues relating to real property litigation, focusing on new developments in law relating to real estate development, investment, leasing, and land use, and provides guidance to legal and real estate professionals on how they can avoid litigation and/or avail themselves of various methods of alternative dispute resolution (including mediation and arbitration).
Farach’s practice focuses on real estate matters, both transactional and litigation. He also represents clients in business litigation, financial services, and appellate law. He is board certified by The Florida Bar in both Real Estate Law and Business Litigation and has authored numerous legal publications on the topic of real estate law, including Florida Real Estate Law (Thomson-West), the real estate component of West’s Florida Practice Series, and each week publishes the widely-read Florida Real Property and Business Litigation Report, a compilation of Florida real estate and business cases. Farach is a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and is past Chair of the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Standard Jury Instructions for Contract and Business Cases.
Farach received his J.D., cum laude, from the Florida State University College of Law in 1985 and his B.S. from Stetson University in 1981.
