Meghan Markle has been described as living her “worst nightmare” after her attempts to become “the next Oprah Winfrey” in Hollywood. Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield made the shocking statement after the “Suits” alum and Prince Harry were mocked on the latest episode of the “Family Guy” series.
Meghan Markle Reportedly Dealing With Her ‘Worst Nightmare’
Before Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were mocked on “Family Guy” over their new money-making tactics, the Sussex pair also suffered the same fate just a few months ago when they were brutally lambasted on a “South Park” episode.
"I think it must be because the one thing that they hate is people making fun of them. She wants to be taken seriously, she's so desperate to be taken seriously. She looks the right way all the time, she knows when the camera is on her,” Mike Graham said on his show called “TalkTV.”
"If they do want to pursue a career in Hollywood because we do hear that Meghan wants to become the next Oprah Winfrey. If they do want that kind of success, they have got to shake the idea of them being a parody - that's crucial to their brand,” Kinsey Schofield said. "Dior's not going to want to work with somebody that the public sees as a joke. They want sophistication and somebody that's chic,” the American journalist continued.
The harsh remarks come as Meghan has been chastised for "considering a run for office," with reports that she is interested in filling California Senator Dianne Feinstein's seat. Enraged royal pundit PDina has ordered the wife of Prince Harry to concentrate on her duties as a duchess.
"It is not a logical next step. If anything, I think it reveals so much more about her initial intentions before marrying Harry. Why would you even want to do that after marrying into the Royal Family? Your duty is to your work as a duchess, to be alongside your husband doing charity work. Why are you trying to get into government? That doesn't make sense as a duchess. It just tells you that her political ambition was always there. You don't just one day say, 'I'm going to be a senator,’” Pdina told Us Weekly’s “Royally US.”
Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Might Appear in Another Docuseries?
Meanwhile, another royal commentator suggested that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may return with another behind-the-scenes look at their lives as the Sussex pair pursues new initiatives in the United States.
"I don't think a traditional unscripted reality show is in the cards for them just because you're inviting so much discussion about your private lives when you invite a reality show into your space. Something like we saw with the Netflix documentary, a continuation of that behind-the-scenes look at them and their projects makes sense. I think that is something we could definitely look out for in the future,” Amanda Matta said on “Royally US.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who signed a multimillion-dollar deal with the streaming behemoth in 2020, have been tight-lipped about their future plans with Netflix. However, it can be recalled that after the success of their six-part docuseries in December 2022, which explored their private lives since their infamous “Megxit,” they could continue with that format.
Speculations about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry doing another docuseries come amid reports that the royal pair are spending Netflix "40 times more" than usual for a documentary on the platform. Neither the Duke nor the Duchess of Sussex has confirmed or denied anything as of this writing.
