Rumors are one of the banes of a celebrity’s existence and Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are no exception to this constant. Although the adorable couple has time and again showed the world that there’s no tension between their relationship, gossip media are constantly churning fake stories to plague the two.
Just last month, a rumor manufactured by National Enquirer (via Gossip Cop) claimed that Mila Kunis wants to divorce Ashton Kutcher on the grounds that the actor is not taking his parental responsibility seriously. The outlet claims that an insider privy to the goings on in the life of the celebrity couple spilled the information to them.
“Mila [Kunis] is furious because she doesn’t get the sense that Ashton [Kutcher] has the same passion about family life that he does for business. He’s out of the house so often, she’s started to feel like a single mom,” the questionable source said.
After the tabloid published the piece, fact-checking site Gossip Cop contacted Mila Kuni’s spokesperson who went on to say that the story is completely untrue. This isn’t surprising given that National Enquirer has a reputation for creating false claims. There’s also the fact that Mila Kunis herself previously said that Ashton Kutcher is incredibly attentive with the needs of his family.
What’s more, the “No Strings Attached” actor has already proven he takes responsibility quite seriously, as evidenced by his efforts of stopping child sex abuse through his non-profit organization called Thorn. And speaking of which, Thorn recently received $280 million in funding from the Audacious Project. There’s no doubt that Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are beaming at this news; a fact that will further strengthen the couple’s relationship.
Unfortunately, it’s expected that more rumors will be published about the pair in the near future as Demi Moore – the actor’s ex-wife – is set to release her memoir on Sept. 24. The book will detail the actress’ struggle through the years of being in the industry, the hardships she endured being one of Hollywood’s most prominent figure and her past relationships. As for Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, there’s no indication that they’re fighting behind closed doors and everything seems to be going swimmingly for them. Here’s to hoping it stays that way for many years.
