Many celebrities crafted personal messages for their loved ones on Valentine's Day. But Miranda Lambert certainly wins lovey-dovey social media posts as she not only sent out a sweet note but actually announced that she just got married.
Lambert broke the internet last week after confirming she just got married to 27-year-old NYPD Officer Brendan McLoughlin. Her Instagram posts suggest they had a secret ranch wedding in Tennessee while reports confirmed it happened on Jan. 26.
But their young relationship is already riddled with controversies as one source came out accusing McLoughlin of cheating on his previous partners. Radar Online reported that before marrying Lambert, McLoughlin was engaged to Jackie Bruno. Her mother, Carol Bruno, alleged Lambert’s husband of getting “another girl pregnant” while still engaged with her daughter.
PEOPLE did report that McLoughlin is the father of a three-month-old baby, who is now, technically, Lambert's stepchild. But it is unclear if Radar Online's source is referring to the same baby.
While Lambert appears to be over the moon with her new husband, Carol implied that McLoughlin's relationship with Jackie did not end on a good note. She said her daughter might have not learned about the pregnant woman if she did not need to come home from Sweden after sustaining an injury from playing professional soccer. Carol also claimed that when McLoughlin was confronted about the cheating issue, Lambert's now-spouse allegedly “tried to deny it.”
Meanwhile, McLoughlin married one of the biggest country music stars in America and that obviously changes his life immediately. After tying the knot with Lambert, he cannot remain a patrol officer of the NYPD. New York Post reported that Lambert's husband has been reassigned to desk duty because of his newfound fame. “It would be hard to do his job with photographers and reporters hounding him,” an insider said.
Before getting hitched with McLoughlin, Lambert was married to Blake Shelton for four years. After their divorce, she dated Evan Felker and was even alleged to have caused the latter's marital issues.
