‘Mob Psycho 100’ Season 2 Episode 5 Air Date, Spoilers: Mob in Emotional Hell, Dimple to the Rescue

“Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 Episode 5 is going to involve the most complex challenge that Mob has faced yet. Far from an ordinary exorcism, the next episode will show the protagonist for who he really is. The ghost of the psychic Mogami will essentially put Mob through a scenario where the girl he is possessing will severely bully the main character. This is done to push him to the edge and use his psychic powers on ordinary humans.

As Comic Book notes, Mob is currently in a worrisome situation following the previous episode. He basically tried to expel an even spirit from within a girl who is possessed by a former psychic named Mogami. This particular ghost is quite strong and is resentful of humanity. Finding a kindred spirit in Mob, he will try to force his own ideals onto him in “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 Episode 5.

In “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 Episode 5, Mogami will put Mob through a simulation in which he has no memories of having psychic powers. In this scenario, he is just an ordinary high school boy who is regularly bullied by the girl he is currently trying to save. Mogami is basically trying to imprint a sense of hatred within Mob so that he could bring him over to his side.

Fortunately, Mob is no longer alone, so he won’t be using his powers on ordinary people out of rage. Dimple will be with him in “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 Episode 5 and the ghost will remind Mob of who he is. This will then wake the protagonist up from the simulation.

Fans will be able to see all of this unfold in “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 Episode 5 when the episode airs on Feb. 4. Suffice it to say, it is going to be another action-packed segment to enjoy.
