The upcoming “Money Heist” season 5 has been confirmed to be the last run of the Spanish drama. The finale was revealed when the renewal announcement was posted in July.
The drama that is also known as in its original title of “La Casa de Papel” will offer its last 10 episodes on Netflix. Show creator Alex Pina assured fans that they will wrap up the favorite crime drama nicely. Thus, fans can expect all the loose ends to be ironed out as the series ends.
Now, there are many theories and plot predictions for the “Money Heist” season 5. As this is the last few episodes, fans can’t help but give their own views, opinions or ideas on how they think the story will conclude. What will happen to some of the characters?
Berlin is alive
Berlin is one of the original members of the gang but in season 2, during the heist they carried out at the National Mint, he was believed to have died after being shot by the police. He offered to be left behind so that everyone can escape through the tunnel and he probably sacrificed himself since he only has a few months live anyway.
Berlin was suffering from a degenerative disease and he was told that his life has been cut short to only seven months. But then, a theory emerged and suggested that he lived so fans may see him again in “Money Heist” season 5. He is alive thanks to the bulletproof vest he was wearing as per the theory.
Tokyo will be caught by the authorities
There is no teaser yet for the finale of this drama but it was predicted that Tokyo will end up being caught by the police. This means that although she will live, she may be jailed in the end.
Previously, it was also suggested that Tokyo will be the only one to survive in the final heist. This is because she was revealed to be the narrator in the finale so it makes sense that she will tell the story until the end, even when everyone has already died. To sum it up, being caught by the police will allow her to live and continue the narration in the finale of “Money Heist” season 5.
It will be the end for Rio
It was mentioned on Express that a Redditor who is a fan of the show deduced that Rio will die before the gang escape from the Bank of Spain. The fan stated that the fact Miguel Herrán (Rio) is only one of the two cast members of the show who did not post the “Money Heist” season 5 announcement could be a hint that he did not make it until the end.
