Most Asian markets start a new week on the positive note, gold stabilizes above $1,170

All the major Asian indices were trading on a positive note on Monday. Gold was trading around $1,174 mark while silver was trading around $16.45 marks.

Japanese banks will be closed in observance of coming-of-age day.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.06 percent higher at 22,516 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,148.53 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,345.75 points.

Taiwan stocks open up 0.1 pct at 9,376.48 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.13 percen higher at 2,052 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.03 percent higher at 8,244.70 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.09 percent lower at 26,735 points.

Australia’s S&P ASX200 was trading 1.00 percent higher at 5,811.10 points.
