Mtn Dew is bringing back its Voo-Dew mystery flavor on September 9, continuing a six-year Halloween tradition. The popular soda, featuring a secret taste, will also be available as a frozen treat exclusively at Circle K locations nationwide.
Mtn Dew's Voo-Dew Mystery Flavor Returns with New Frozen Version
In a spooky tradition spanning six years, Mtn Dew is once again set to release its mysterious Voo-Dew flavor on September 9. According to Mashed, this Halloween-inspired beverage blends the classic citrus taste of Mtn Dew with a secret flavor, sparking lively debates among fans trying to decipher the mystery in previous years. Soda enthusiasts have even more to anticipate this season, as Mtn Dew partners with Circle K to offer an exclusive frozen version of Voo-Dew that is available only at its locations.
In addition to the regular option, Mtn Dew’s limited-edition Voo-Dew will be available in a zero-sugar variety. According to an email shared with Mashed, both versions can be found at retailers nationwide in individual 20-ounce bottles or 12-packs of 12-ounce bottles, which are ideal for sharing with friends. Mtn Dew's 2023 Voo-Dew flavor, inspired by Cherry Airheads, was revealed in a post on the company's X profile, but this year’s mystery flavor remains undisclosed. Shoppers visiting Circle K will also have the chance to experience surprises with the frosty version of the soda.
Mtn Dew and Circle K Unveil Frozen Voo-Dew with Exclusive Halloween-Themed Froster Cup Promotion
This frozen Voo-Dew collaboration isn't the first between Mtn Dew and Circle K. In 2022, the famous beverage brand introduced its Purple Thunder flavor exclusively at Circle K locations, aiming to attract adventurous, convenience-seeking soda fans. While the frosty mystery drink will excite Mtn Dew devotees, Circle K offers an extra incentive for customers.
Circle K shoppers can purchase a Froster cup for $7.99, which includes the first serving of frozen Voo-Dew for free. The cup has a glow-in-the-dark lid and color-changing features, perfect for Halloween. Customers will also receive a complimentary shoe charm and a hybrid straw with their purchase. Although Halloween is still weeks away, Mtn Dew and Circle K have embraced the season's spirit.
