“My Hero Academia” is blowing up right now, taking the anime world by storm and will soon grace the big screen in western markets. In the U.S., pre-sale tickets for “My Hero Academia: Two Heroes” was just announced, allowing fans to buy a spot for themselves soon. As for the TV version, the anime is considered by many to be the most inspiring superhero show right now.
The “My Hero Academia” is set to hit US theatres this fall and in a tweet recently sent out by Funimation, the anime streaming platform announced that fans could get their tickets soon. The tickets will become available on Aug. 24, and the service provider encourages viewers to mark the date and reserve a seat for themselves.

Although the movie has yet to hit western theatres, “My Hero Academia: Two Heroes” has already made waves in Japan. Attracting rave reviews from both fans and movie critics, it has since become a favorite of the anime community. This is a reflection of the quality that “My Hero Academia” promises, which it seems to have retained even on the big screen.
It’s also encouraging to see that the movie retains one of the qualities that make “My Hero Academia” such a joy to watch; its unending supply of inspiration. In a recent piece, CBR provided reasons as to why this show is currently the most inspiring superhero program on TV. Considering how many superhero shows are on right now, this is a rather bold claim.
On the other hand, it makes a particular kind of sense. The overall theme of “My Hero Academia” – the motivations of individual heroes notwithstanding – is for heroes to serve people. They do so not only by saving and protecting but also for reassuring. All Might is the most excellent example of this, with his trademark positivity making any situation hopeful, regardless of how dire it may seem.
His successor, Midoriya hopes to emulate his idol by someday saving people with a smile that also provides hope. Fans can see how far along Deku is on this path with “My Hero Academia: Two Heroes” hitting theatres on Sept. 25 to Oct. 2. The “My Hero Academia” movie will only be available via select theatres.
