“My Hero Academia” chapter 280 is coming up next and fans already want to see what happened in the mountains as Gigantomachia and the other villains try to get to the city after learning that Tomura is already awake. They call him their liberator so they were shocked after hearing he is not yet 100 percent complete when he woke up.

In any case, in the previous “My Hero Academia” chapter 279 titled “League of Villains vs. U.A. Students,” the battle between the apprentice of both the heroes and the villains have commenced. The two teams finally met and as everyone would guess, it was a chaotic meeting in the woods.
Mount Lady is still hanging onto Gigantomachia as the hero students try to trap him. They can’t let him and his allies reach the city because the citizens will surely suffer and many will die.
Their plan is to make him sleep by forcing him to consume some kind of pills. This is the only way they can defeat the giant as they can only attack him if he’s unconscious. Thus, the students are doing their best to make their plan work so everyone will be protected.
The struggle to sedate Gigantomachia
Mt. Lady was trying to wake up Kamui Woods or Shinji Nishiyato as the giant is approaching the trap that has been set up for him. The UA students covered several chords with grape juice orbs and fortunately, the giant stepped on it and he fell to the ground with a big thud.
The students immediately wrapped the giant’s neck with the Vines quirk used by Ibara Shiozaki. The other heroes helped in subduing Gigantomachia by holding him down using cables. When they were sure that the giant is secured, the student heroes quickly made their move and charged to give him the sedative that will put him to sleep.
Mount Lady pushed Gigantomachia to the ground and opens up his mouth so that the pills could be administered. It was Pinky who actually delivered the sedatives to the giant’s mouth by using the Acidman, Mina Ashido’s quirk.

“My Hero Academia” chapter 280 will show whether they have succeeded in sedating the giant. This is important because if they fail, it will mean chaos since they will not be able to stop this huge villain from entering the city.
Also, the upcoming “My Hero Academia” chapter 280 will still continue the battle between the UA students and the league of villains. Apparently, the heroes have assembled to stop the beasts from advancing and meeting Tomura Shigaraki.
