Fans avidly following updates on “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 10 know by now that the major characters are in some serious trouble in Mexico. But here is why Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) will come back alive after the premiere episode.
All teaser photos hinting at what’s going to happen in the “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 10 premiere made it clear that Kensi, Deeks, Sam (LL Cool J), and Callen (Chris O'Donnell) are all facing danger. It can be recalled that they went on an off-the-books mission in Mexico.

However, as mentioned, Kensi and Deeks are definitely coming out alive and what assures that is another big happy event happening later in “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 10. The law enforcement lovebirds are finally tying the knot sometime in the middle of the season.
Executive producer R. Scott Gemmill previously confirmed this plot development in “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 10 in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. Gemmill also revealed that the wedding is happening in an episode “probably after Christmas.” To describe Deeks and Kensi’s upcoming wedding, Gemmill referred to a meme “where [Deeks] said she smells like sunshine and gunpowder.”
Meanwhile, another life hangs in the balance in the premiere of “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 10. It can be recalled that the final episodes of the previous season implied that Hidoko (Andrea Bordeaux) could be dead. But the truth will be revealed right in the first episode.
On the day that season 9 finale originally aired, Bordeaux also posted on social media a heartfelt message thanking fans as well as the cast and crew of the show. “I just wanted to take a moment to say how grateful, humbled and honored I've been to be a part of this show,” the actress wrote. Some suggest that this could be a strong indication that Hidoko will be declared dead once “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 10 premieres on Sept. 30 at 9:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
