CBS's “NCIS” and “NCIS: New Orleans” may be dealing with their own crises but fans of the shows can agree that “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 10 just brought down the hammer on its lead characters.
While Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) is held hostage by terrorists and Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula) is still mentally recovering from a gunman's attack, the “NCIS: Los Angeles” team had to fight their way out of Mexico after suffering an attack during their extraction in the show's season 9 finale.
While the team was eventually rescued by Director Mosley (Nia Long), they did not get back unscathed. “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 10 confirms that Agent Harley Hidoko (Andrea Bordeaux) was the charred human remains that Callen and team encountered in the previous season.
In addition, the harrowing experience of being hunted down by cartel enforcers is not something that anyone can easily shrug off. With Gibbs lending a hand to Pride's team in “NCIS: New Orleans's” new season, fans may be wondering if the other NCIS branches will be helping out Callen (Chris O' Donnel) and crew in “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 10.
In an interview with Parade, “NCIS: Los Angeles” executive producer Scott Gemmill answers the question if “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 10 will be seeing any crossovers with the other “NCIS” shows anytime soon. Gemmil mentions that the challenge of having crossover episodes lies in logistics. Gemmil mentions that the show's cast and crew already experienced the logistical challenge when “NCIS: Los Angeles” did the crossover with “Hawaii Five-0”.
Scott Gemmill has yet to confirm that “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 10 will be having any crossover episodes. Still, Gemmill assures fans that the “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 10 cast and crew are not deterred by the logistical challenge and is also looking forward to collaborating with the “NCIS: Los Angeles's” sister shows.
Fans of the show can look forward to the current season's storylines as “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 10 returns with its second episode on Oct. 7.
