Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported Israeli gunfire, fires and explosions in several southern areas Friday, including the destruction of a home on a road linking three locations.

The agency said Israeli forces used machine guns during operations in Khiam and Qantara, while homes were set on fire in Qantara. NNA reported artillery near Kfar Shuba and Haddatha, at Wadi Zibqin and between Mayfadoun and Zawtar al-Sharqiyah. It also said shells struck Wadi al-Hujair.

NNA reported an explosion in Tayri, in Bint Jbeil district. A separate blast brought down a home and destroyed its contents along the route linking Kfar Shuba, Sadana Hill and Shebaa, the agency said.

Earlier NNA reports have covered Israeli activity elsewhere in the south. In a report on activity near Habbariyeh, the agency said about 20 Israeli soldiers and four Merkava tanks reached Nabaa al-Khokh in Hasbaya district; it reported troops searched the area and six artillery rounds struck Habbariyeh’s outskirts in Arqoub.
