“Narcos” Season 4 is going to be released tomorrow and fans of the series can’t wait how the story will unfold. There are two major characters who will be facing each other this installment, DEA agent Kiki Camarena (Michael Pena) and drug kingpin Felix Gallardo (Diego Luna).
To avoid spoiling the ending of “Narcos” Season 4, audiences are encouraged to not Google the life of Agent Camarena since he’s a real person. His story has also been summarized by Agent Murphy (Boyd Holbrook) in Season 1, so hardcore followers of the franchise already know the fate of this character.
Fortunately for fans, they can simply binge watch “Narcos” Season 4 as all 10 episodes will be dropping tomorrow. Although this installment’s premise is already proving to be quite an interesting story in the history of the drug war, it will only set up things in “Narcos” Season 5.
The fifth installment will undoubtedly have a lot of bloodier episodes since the United States government got heavily involved following the death of Camarena. The historical accounts included in “Narcos” Season 4 is also far more accurate compared to its predecessors.
Showrunner Eric Newman said that it was easier to retrieve authentic information for “Narcos” Season 4 since most of the people involved in this conflict are still alive. Newman said that they’ve spoken to people who “remember” this era clearly that allowed them to stitch the story together that is both legitimate and engaging, Hollywood Reporter said.
What’s more, Newman said that fans should view “Narcos” Season 4 as somewhat of a first season for this arc since the events that took place in this era differ vastly to the first three installments. Will the fourth installment be as bloody as its predecessors? That remains to be seen.
Right now, fans are just ecstatic that there are only a few hours to wait before “Narcos” Season 4 is released. Hopefully, all the characters will be as riveting as the first three seasons. But given that Luna and Pena are spearheading this installment, there’s a lot of chance that this may be the best “Narcos” season that Netflix has created.
