National Defense Energy & Environmental Alliance, LLC, a Joint Venture between Concurrent Technologies Corporation and Battelle, Named One of Four Awardees on $122.5 Million National Defense Center for Energy and Environment Contract

ABERDEEN, Md., May 5, 2016 -- Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) and Battelle Memorial Institute (Battelle) announced today that their joint venture, National Defense Energy & Environmental Alliance, LLC (E2A), has been named an awardee on a $122.5 million contract to support the National Defense Center for Energy and Environment (NDCEE). This multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract allows for firm-fixed-price and cost plus fixed fee task orders.

The NDCEE was established with the directive to serve as a national leadership organization to address high-priority environmental, safety, occupational health, and energy requirements for the Department of Defense (DoD), other federal government organizations, and the industrial community. E2A will demonstrate, validate, and transition technologies to address these needs and assist DoD installations, ranges, weapon systems, and the warfighter with achieving performance advantages, enhancing efficiency and cost effectiveness, and complying with regulations.
