NEWARK, Calif., July 26, 2017 -- Neato Robotics, leader in smart robots for the home, announced today an Executive team appointment, with Mark Vena as their Vice President of Marketing. Vena joined the company this week and reports directly to CEO Giacomo Marini. As VP of Marketing, Vena will oversee the company’s strategic product management, spanning all areas of product and corporate marketing.
Vena has an extensive and proven track record in the consumer technology product space. He has experience serving in critical senior management positions at many of the world’s most successful companies, including Dell, Alienware and most recently, Sling Media. Vena played a key leadership role at these companies, managing some of the world’s most highly visible consumer product brands.
“With more than 20 years of experience with many enviable consumer technology brands, Mark will augment our company’s global ability to promote and differentiate our award-winning family of ‘smart’ home automation solutions,” said Giacomo Marini, CEO of Neato Robotics. “We’re thrilled to add Mark to our executive team.”
During the early part of his career, Vena worked in various marketing-oriented roles at Epson America, IBM Corporation and NYNEX. He graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in History.
