ESPOO, Finland, Jan. 15, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Neste Jacobs, a technology, engineering and project management company and Neste, Baltic region's leading refiner and distributer of oil products and the world's largest producer of renewable fuels, have signed an agreement for Neste Jacobs to deliver Neste a full scale Operator Training Simulator for crude oil distillation unit and gasoline sulphur removal unit of the Porvoo refinery.
The agreement is continuation of the previously successfully delivered simulator aided learning environments for the largest production line of Porvoo refinery and for several NEXBTL renewable diesel refineries around the world. After the new simulator has been commissioned in spring 2016, it shall be maintained and kept up-to-date with the real plant by utilizing Neste Jacobs' customer support simulator environment. Updates to the simulator located at the client's premises shall be efficiently made over a secure remote connection.
