A new trailer for “Dishonored 2” just came out and it contains scenes where Corvo and Emily used their particular abilities to kill enemies in creative ways. Many of these abilities have already been shown in previous trailers. However, one of the best things about the Dishonored games is how much freedom it gives players to be as devious as they want to be.
For anyone who has been keeping track of what’s been revealed so far, one of Emily’s abilities is the Domino Effect. It basically links enemies together to suffer the same fate. Basically, if Emily kills one, all the others that are affected by this ability also die. This is shown in perfect harmony when multiple enemies are fried by an electric barrier in one go, Tom’s Hardware notes.
In another scene, Emily also used the ability to toss multiple enemies on the ground down the side of a building by tying them to her double using the Doppelganger ability. Now, most players would assume that this skill would only be great for distracting enemies or diverting their attention. As the trailer clearly shows, however, it can also be used to deadly effect.
Then, of course, there’s Corvo himself who still possesses many of the powers that he had in the first game. There’s the Blink ability which allows him to jump vast distances without being seen. This time, though, he can also use it to kick enemies to oblivion.
His Time Bend ability is also still incredibly useful in so many fun ways, Polygon notes. As shown in the video, Corvo can use these two abilities in conjunction to achieve his goal and kill enemies in one swoop. In the last part, he actually managed to kidnap someone by tossing him out of a high window without killing the target and then getting rid of the guards with a well-placed explosion.
