In honor of his twelve years of service on the New York City Council, Daniel R. Garodnick will ring the Opening Bell.

Council Member Garodnick is known as one of New York's most independent voices and effective legislators.  He recently passed a plan that will deliver nearly a billion dollars to improve subways and public spaces in Midtown over the next 20 years, through the East Midtown and Vanderbilt Corridor rezonings. These rezonings will also generate millions of square feet of new Class A office space to rejuvenate Midtown as a thriving commercial district.
