The last few days have been full of surprises for fans of former “The Vampire Diaries” star Nina Dobrev. Not only did she post a picture of herself in a robe, on a bed while hugging a teddy bear, she also got tipsy on a late night talk show. Meanwhile, her boyfriend Glen Powell shows he’s a good sport after losing dream role to Miles Teller.
In preparation for her appearance on the popular talk show “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” Nina Dobrev posted quite the interesting photo on Instagram. Wearing a revealing robe while on a bed surrounded by pastries and hugging a teddy bear, the actress was also sporting a rather enigmatic smile. She finished this off with the caption “Carb loading for @colbertlateshow #TequilaPlease @stephenathome TUNE IN TONIGHT on @cbstv.”
That hashtag is particularly noteworthy since it resulted in her appearance on the show involving tequila shots. As seen on this YouTube clip of the segment, Nina Dobrev got a bit tipsy and swears on TV by accident. Perhaps that tequila shot wasn’t such a good idea, after all?
In any case, everything was fine and this isn’t exactly the first time that the talk show featured swearing and drunken conduct. Nina Dobrev even brought up during her appearance how superstar Jennifer Lawrence also had tequila shots when she was last on the show. It made the segment particularly interesting.
In related news, Nina Dobrev boyfriend Glen Powell recently sent out a funny tweet with regards to him losing out on a roll for “Top Gun 2.” It was basically a retweet of a Variety article talking about how Miles Teller would be playing Goose’s son in the movie, a role that Glen Powell also wanted. It seems the actor isn’t too cut up about it though and shows that he’s a good sport on the matter.
“I’m taking down all the Tom Cruise posters in my bedroom. Maybe, I’ll leave one. Two for symmetry. Okay, the posters are staying,” the tweet reads.
