Nintendo Switch owners can look forward to the “Void Bastards” being ported over to the Nintendo console soon if a recent leak is to be believed. Unfortunately, gamers might have to wait a bit longer if they plan to get their hands on “Ring Fit Adventure “ as the title remains sold out in North American markets.
‘Void Bastards’
Nintendo Switch gamers with a penchant for science-fiction shooters will have something to look forward to in the coming months. Apparently, “Void Bastards” will be coming to the console based on clues from an Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) rating, according to EuroGamer.
“Void Bastards” was released in May 2019 for the Xbox One and PC. However, there is no confirmation that the title would be ported over to other platforms.
However, it now looks like it may be headed for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch consoles soon. An ESRB rating shows that the “Void Bastards” is listed for the Sony and Nintendo gaming consoles. While no other detail is available, the leak also confirms earlier Europe’s PEGI leak that claimed it would be ported to the PS4.
‘Ring Fit Adventure’
Another Nintendo Switch game, the “Ring Fit Adventure,” is selling like hotcakes these days. In fact, there has been a supply shortage for the title in Canada and the United States for a few weeks now, Digital Trends reported.
This was confirmed by a statement from Nintendo that said stocks of the fitness RPG are “selling out at various retail locations in the Americas.” The company promised to release more units as soon as possible.
Apparently, the supply shortage for the “Ring Fit Adventure” is not limited to North American markets alone. Resellers have been hoarding stocks of the title and some have been selling them online for more than $250.
For comparison, the “Ring Fit Adventure” suggested retail price is only $80. eBay listings for the title go as high as $170.
Digital Trends wrote that the supply shortage for the title might be, at least in part, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Nintendo previously reported that the virus affected its products for the Japanese market since the market sources its products from China.
Meanwhile, Twitter user Daniel Ahmad claimed that Chinese resellers are the culprit behind the shortage. “Chinese resellers are continuing to buy overseas stock of Ring Fit Adventure in huge quantities to resell in China where the package is currently selling for over $250,” Ahmad tweeted. “Global shortages + viral short videos showcasing the game + impact of coronavirus driving up demand.”
